Memory Book

I recall the couple of hours I spent with Stephen at Thanksgiving in California a couple of years ago. He was so fun and full of life! No doubt all of the family has many fond memories, and may you be comforted by those. I am so sorry for your precious loss.

Steve, we will miss you the most every time we are at the lake. The Shopko runs, the Goat runs, Friday night fish frys at Joseph's and decorating the golf cart for the 4th of July parade will not be the same. Every time I light up a stogie up there I will think of you. Rest in peace, dear freind.

I worked with Steve many years at IMTT. Most of the group at IMTT considered him a friend as well as a dedicated co-worker. He will be greatly missed.

Please allow me to offer my sincerest sympathy at the death of your beloved Stephen. As soon as my mother learned of his death, she contacted me, and I put an intention in our book for the repose of his soul and for the comfort and consolation of your entire family.

In time of sorrow, we often try to grasp why this happened to the lives of those we love and also what it means in our in our own life. With faith in God we are all reminded that Christian death has a positive meaning: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” as St. Paul said. If we believe in God and love Him, we are able to understand death with a profound faith and hope. With this in mind, may you find great comfort in Christ, who gives us so much hope by His Death and Resurrection.

May God comfort you with his Love and Peace. We believe that God’s love wipes tears away and brings tomorrow’s hope. May you trust in His Love and believe that Stephen is at peace in Him.

Know that the Sisters remember you and your loved ones, and especially your dear Stephen, as we go before the Lord in prayer. May Jesus fill you to overflowing with His peace, His strength, and His love.

Sister Mary Brigid, O.P.
(Kathleen M. Kelliher,
daughter of Mary Walsh Kelliher)

Steve, we will always remember the blender run up at the condo. Fourth of July won't be same without you. Shopko lost one of it's best customers.
