To my teacher, mentor and close and dearest friend for 47 years. You captured my heart and mind at 16 and became part of my family. You are loved and will be missed. I can see your smile and hear your laughter. I treasured our lunches and dinners every year, the great conversations and all your wisdom. You are with God now. Uncle Walter,was a great man,he was always happy and very nice, and he will be miss by all.

Uncle Walter we didn't get to spend much time together, but we enjoyed the family reunion this past summer.You were very pleasant and had a BIG smile, you will be missed.

You have been a true friend to me, a grandfather figure. You believed in me and supported my dreams and here I am: in Chicago - like you said, happily married with 2 children. Only God knows where would I be now if God didn't put you in my life. I sincerely thank you for what you did and who you were to me and to others! I will always remember you as a good man!
