The love I feel for you is beyond what seems humanly possible. Time has passed but you are constantly and forever with me. Please continue to visit me in my dreams. I miss you every single day! When it is my time to leave this earth, I will be looking forward to being with you again and forever.
I'll always love you.
When I agreed to let Eva & Elias stay live with their father, it was because of the love, closeness & unity of the Hernandez family. I knew that Eva/Elias would be so loved & appreciated by their Aunts, Uncles & cousins (much more than my side)...What came to mind first was Maryesther's generosity & the attention she so unselfishly gave to her nieces & nephews; I saw, that to her, they were ALL the second child she never had. Mia died having been the first baby to experience this very special love & bond that all members of the Hernandez family have and I'm sure that will greatly help & give strength during now. My deepest sympathy for all of the family which was once mine.
Mia was always a joy to talk to, brightening my day when I stopped by the 4th floor of the CDM building. She will be missed.
I work with Martha and I am sorry for your loss. Stay strong and united. In my prayers.

It was always a pleasure being around Mia in college. Looking back at the days in the film cage, I can easily picture her smile. Rest in peace.
I knew Mia from our time together as classmates in grad school. We remained friends beyond school, and I'll miss seeing Mia around campus and chatting with her about life, running, and filmmaking. Her kindness and smile will be remembered always. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends.

I was so saddened to hear of Mia's passing. I remember Mia from my first year teaching at Epiphany. She was amazingly sparkly, vibrant, kind, strong, and smart. Her smile was a gift to everyone around her. Know Mia and her family are in my thoughts and prayers, today and always.
My very deepest condolescences goes our to the Hernandez family. My heart dropped when my mother informed me of Mia's passing. Even though we lost touch, I always remembered Mia. It was awesome to have lived a few doors down from her and go to Epiphany with her. Some of my very fondest memories of childhood happened in our very neighborhood, with Mia and my other grade school friends. My most memorable memory of Mia is how we would both ALWAYS would have debates on which one of us was taller in the class- which neither of us was- because we were both the 2 shortest ones! =] May you rest in peace Mia. Share your smile and your laugh with all the angels in heaven- including my father...... To the Hernandez family- you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you the strength to get through this very difficult time and may you find peace and reassurance in believing that one day you will be reunited with Mia again.
John and Familia,
We are so saddened by your loss. my heart aches for you all. Ill be with you in spirit on Saturday.

My family had the pleasure and honor of coming to know you almost thirty two years ago. You opened your hearts and offered your friendship to us. You assisted me in raising my sons for which I will be forever grateful. Your characteristics of love and kindness towards others, love of family, and striving for academic excellence were also practiced and demonstrated by your beautiful daughter, Mia.
