Hello. And Bye.
Very sad to learn we've lost a fine person who made a big difference in any lives.
To the Klingler family - you have my deepest sympathy and prayers. I remember growing up with Jeff and all of the wonderful times spent together. The actions of Jeff and your family will never be forgotten.
Always will remember playing soccer against Jeff when we were young. He as such a great person.
RIP Jeff
Jeff, May you Rest In Peace. I will never forget our Rosary College Days. You were a Great Athlete, but most important you were an amazing person. You never had the "jock" attitude, and always had time for your friends. May the Good Lord hold you and surround you by Angels.
Love,
Ida Westlove (Bello)
My deepest sympathy to Jeff's family and friends.
To the Klingler family, loved ones and friends, we would like to express our most sincere condolence to all. May the grace, love and peace of God be with you at this time.
Anyone who knew basketball, knew that "Jeff Klingler" was the man, on the court and off the court. Like many who played for Jerry Leggett, he would often play right on the court next to Redmon and Lee Community Center, in my neighborhood. The experience was similar to a good movie at the cinema. I wish i could have recorded the footage, as easy then, as we can with today's technology. A masterful blend of culture, tradition, struggle, triumph etc..... It would be a blockbuster!!!!! I was fortunate to watch Jeff play basketball and also know him as a person. He was a role model and a scholar, like a movie star to many of my generation at the time. Thank you Jeff, for the inspiration and your friendship, rest in peace bro.
Tyson Rudd and family
My deepest sympathy to Jeff's family and friends. I will always remember him as a thoughtful and respectful person. I never heard him say an unkind word to anyone and he always had a kind smile for everyone.

My sympathies to all of the family. I remember Jeff as one with big time skills but common humility. Respect to you all.
My deepest sympathy to the Klinger family. I was so very fortunate to have spent a great deal of time with Jeff. He played both Basketball and Baseball which allowed me to spend countless hours together. He will be remembered for his athletic ability but to me he was much more than that.He was kind, considerate and always willing to the little extra things to help his friends or teammates. His sense of humor was second to none as his wit was very engaging. I t was a true pleasure for me to have known Jeff and to be
a small part of his life. I will never forget. Michael Hellenthal
Goodbye My Love.We were together seven years. After we parted ways we remained the best friends. You were a great father and I will never forget you...Until I see you again on the other.
This is a sad time in Blue Devil country.
Jeff was such a fine young man. He was well liked by his teammates and coaches. Jeff took time for the aspiring Blue Devils waiting on the sideline for his autograph or a high five. Jeff was truly a rock solid individual and I can still see Jeff's smiling face and blonde hair as he proudly wore that Blue Devil uniform.
I can tell you Coach Leggett respected Jeff's integrity and grit on the basketball court. Coach viewed Jeff as a true leader! Jeff was everything a coach could ask for in a player.
May happier times of great memories in the Blue Devil gym lift your spirit at this very difficult time.
I SEND MY LOVE AND PRAYERS.
Klingler Family....
My deepest deepest sympathies to all of you. May God's angels wrap their arms around all of you and comfort you during this very difficult time.
What wonderful times we had from when we first met up at Junior High to the last home game as Seniors. The four high school years of Blue Devil Basketball will always be etched in memory. Whether cheering for one of his basketball teams or sitting in front of him in class... he touched many many lives. When you remember high school, you remember Jeff.
God Bless all of you.
Lyle, Fritzi and Kim,
As words can not express the deep loss at this moment please know that you are in our prayers. The years I got to call Jeff a teammate were some of the best years ever. I was honored to go into the HOF the same year as Jeff.
Even though time and distance came between us I would think often of all of the time we spent on the court together. Jeff always competed the right way. He always gave it his all and always expected the same from his teammates.
Jeff is home now. Pain free from any desease. May God bless you and keep you through this difficult time.
