Fausto and I had known each other since we were in grade school. And out of all my friends, us two always kept in touch, that being because of Fausto. We even made the attempt to reunite a couple years ago after like 8 years. And ever since then we were computer buds, he's show me the spots, take me to eat, and even introduce me to his pops. I am the lucky one to have met Fausto and spent the time that I did with him. He was BUD! & it is unfortinate that he was taken from all of us. But I honestly feel like I can talk out loud and he can here me and I crack jokes and I can really hear him laugh. Thank you to Mr. Manzera and Ms. Velez for bring such a good man into this world. Fausto was in my Latin@ Religious Experience course last quarter. He was a very bright man who always stood up for his beliefs, even when I argued against him. He created an incredible painting for my course with people who were blades of grass and a large bright sunflower with a face. It is one of the best artistic interpretations of Latinoa Theologies I have seen from my students. God bless you.

I first met Fausto during Freshman year football at De La Salle Institute and I was lucky enough to have numerous classes with him during our four years at "De." He was a great classmate, always willing to give his great insight in class and he was never afraid to speak his mind. Fausto was one of the best artist I knew and always liked to show me his art. He had a great sense of humor as he always knew how to make others laugh.
After graduation, I was lucky enough to keep in touch with Fausto as he and his family moved across the street from me. When I would come out to work in my family's restaurant or park cars for Sox games, Fausto would always stop by and we would tell jokes with each other and talk about what was going on in our lives. I always looked forward to seeing him and I will miss those times.
Fausto was a great man with a big heart. He was always willing to help out his friends.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the mass because I am away at school but I just want to express my sympathy to the Manzera family. I will miss Fausto and I know he will never be forgotten.
