I just learned of Mr. Monzel's passing and am deeply saddened. He served in the army with my uncle, Harry Marek. Mr Monzel was my Boy Scout leader. We lived across the alley from him in Cicero during the '50s. He was MOST instrumental in shaping my beliefs in God, Family, and Traditional American Core Values. It was most convenient for me having my Scout leader living so close - I cherished meeting with him in the basement of his home where he tutored me for merit badges, particularly in First Aid. I'm rambling but the memory of Mr Monzel brings back fond memories and respect for a man, other than my father, who positively shaped my adult life.
God Bless You, Mr Monzel Rest In Peace....You Are A Good Man...

He will always be remembered as you share the stories and the memories of how he lived his life and how very much he meant, may you find comfort...And, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith.-2Timothy 4:7. As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I shall certainly awake, for Jehovah himself keeps supporting me. -Psalms 3:5
