Funeral Services for Mrs. Laurie Jean Wheeler Yeaton will be held 2pm on Saturday January 26, 2008 at the Chapel of George Funeral Home & Cremation Center 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken with Pastor Phillip Lee officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 1pm until the time of service. Interment will take place Monday January 28, 2008 at 1pm at the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort SC. Mrs. Yeaton, 51, of Aiken, died Monday January 21, 2008 at MCG, Augusta, GA. A daughter of the late Bernard Gettler and Mrs. Shirley Lane Gettler. She had lived in Utah, Tennessee and several locations before moving to Aiken, SC in 2004. She had worked as an administrative coordinator for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN for several years. Mrs. Yeaton is survived by her husband Rev. Larry L. Yeaton, who she married on December 7, 2007, a son; Richard Shane Trevino, Aiken SC, a daughter; Jennifer Gettler, Knoxville TN, one step-son; John Yeaton, Lake City, FL, her mother; Shirley Lane Gettler, Hopedale, MA, three sisters; KarenMichael Parker, Park City UT, Sharon Bill Holzer, Dayton OH, and Michelle Mike Dacoosta, Las Vegas, NV, and three grandchildren.
