Memorial services for Mr. Robert Leigh Aldrich will be held Saturday December 1, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Dutch Fork Christian Church, Irmo, SC. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Dutch Fork Christian Church?s Helping Hand Fund, 220 North Royal Tower, Irmo, SC, 29063. Robert Leigh Aldrich, 72, of Columbia, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Palmetto Richland Health Care. Born in Fredonia, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Hurd and Goldy Strohm Aldrich. He lived in Randolph, NY, Apopka, FL, before moving to Columbia to live with his daughter?s family. He worked for the Pine Valley School System in South Dayton, NY for twenty years. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by a sister; Nancy Anderson. Robert is survived by a son, Shawn Aldrich and wife Michelle , Concord NC, daughter, Tammy Brown and her husband Harold, Columbia, SC, brother Floyd Aldrich and wife Lone, Arizona, sister, Marti Molnar, Maryland, brother-in-law, J. Bard Anderson, Maryland. Robert is also survived by three wonderful grandchildren; Jordan Aldrich, Ian O?Neill, and Alena Brown. He was a great father, grandfather and friend. We will love you always!
