Eddie John Martin

Mr. Edward John Martin, 50, of Trenton, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at his residence.  South Carolina Cremation & Burial Society is assisting the family.  Memorial donations may be directed to the Aiken County SPCA, 411 Wire Rd. Aiken, SC 29801.

A memorial service will be held on his property on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11am.

Born in Riverdale, MD, he was a son of Mrs. Marion Kendall Martin, North Augusta, SC and the late Henry L. Martin and had lived in Trenton most of his life and worked at Old McDonald’s Catfish Farm.

Eddie enjoyed his land and his animals and was well known for building models, especially trains.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two brothers, William Henry Martin and David Thomas Martin.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters; Ruth Taylor Cathy Martin, both of North Augusta, SC and Therese Carver, St. Augustine, FL, and two brothers; Dennis Martin and Hank Martin, both of North Augusta, SC.
