Hugh Farley Longshore, Iii

Mr. Hugh Farley Longshore, III, passed away March 18, 2011.? He was the husband of 28 years to Elizabeth S. Longshore. Father to Brian, Laura, and Amber Longshore. Grandfather to Elijah A.Rhea. He was a brother to Krista D. Kell (Sam) of W. Columbia, SC, and Jennifer E. Longshore, of Newberry SC. He was an uncle; a nephew and a cousin to many love ones. His pets Max, Margo, Tipsy, and Cartman will miss him. He was predeceased by his father Hugh F. Longshore, Jr., and his mother Earline Mack Longshore. Mr. Longshore was a graduate of Midlands Technical College with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a land surveyor from a young age, eventually taking on Longshore Surveying from his father and running it for many years. A big fan of Clemson sports, he had a great love of music from the 60s and 70s, and a consistent fan of TV comedies and game shows. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11am at New Chapel United Methodist Church, 133 New Chapel Church Road, Newberry SC with Rev. Hugh Beckley officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Jennifer Longshore, at 1300 Fourth St. Newberry SC on Monday, March 21, 2011 from 6-8 PM.
