Robert Mc Queen

Robert Martin McQueen, affectionately known to friends and family as “Mac,” died at home on April 25, 2011 after a long illness, leaving behind Pat, his beloved and bereaved wife of 52 years, his cherished and loved children, daughter Stephanie and son Charles, his daughter-in-law Michelle and a grandson, Zachary. Also surviving him are his sister Irene Fitzgerald, in Baraboo,Wisconsin, and many nephews and nieces. Mac was born in Baraboo,Wisconsin on December 7, 1930. A veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam wars, Mac honorably served 22 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1969. In 1973 he and his family moved to Columbia, where he was a successful businessman. Throughout his life he was an avid outdoorsman. He gave enduring support to his wife’s charitable activities to assist animals in need. He will be dearly missed. No services will be held.
