A Life Well Lived

Lillian Coleburn, 93 years of age, of Baltimore, Maryland, took ill for a short period of time and passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Lillian Coleburn was born in Accomack, Virginia to the late Robert C. Fosque and Annie Mae on February 9th, 1920. She attended school in Accomack and also took up sewing. She married the late Warner Coleburn in Baltimore, Maryland.

Lillian Coleburn is preceded in death by her sisters, Bessie Mae Pegesse, Helen West, Annie West, Madeline Fouskey and Sarah Bundick. Lillian Coleburn is survived by her only Neice Reigh Pegesse-Collick and husband Troy Collick of Baltimore, Maryland, her only Nephew James Fouskey and wife Kathy of Clifton NJ, her favorites Butch, Lilltle Butchie and Calvin. She also leaves to cherish her memory Maureen Woolridge, Symone Woolridge, Mary'cle Collick, Parris Collick, Patricia P. Salandy (Fouskey), Robin Ann Canada (Fouskey) and husband Michael, Karen S Bennet (Fouskey) and husband Rodney, Kevin J Fouskey, Micah T. Fouskey. Included in those who will greatly miss her and her great-great neices, nephews and great-great-great nephews and a host of cousins. Lillian Coleburn also has an extended family Flora Young, Rosalee Funderburk, Cornelius Reddeer, Allen Young, Sharon Young, Minnie Ragbir, Crystal Ragbir, Kangtisu Young-Bey, Caylin Young, Calvin Young, Chanel Young, Amber Young and a host of other family members.

She worked as a Presser for many years and after retirement continued to work in Loch Raven Laundromat where she took in drop offs for sixteen years, she stopped working in August, 2013.

Lillian lived a full life always lending a helping hand and taking care of all the children. She loved to cook and was a great cook for any occasion. A good cup of coffee she enjoyed to start her day. You were always welcome at her home and a home cooked meal. Entertaining was something she enjoyed, being around family and just people in general she loved. She loved to sew, making clothing, cabbage patch dolls, drapes, and a lot of items for herself and others. In her earlier years she enjoyed having card games at her house and her favorite past-time was shopping, (be it food or items), always taking children wherever she went, she also enjoyed her game shows and lottery. She was a lady that had a green thumb and loved to dress. Lillian Coleburn believed in God, she wasn't able to attend services but she listened to the word on the television all the time. If you knew Lillian Coleburn there is a lifetime of memories that follow her.
