The staff at the South Carolina Cremation Society offers their condolences to family and friends. We join you in remembering.

 

Mr. Michael Dean Bryce, Sr., 65, of Aiken, died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at his residence.  A memorial service will be held on FRiday, December 20, 2013 at 6pm   at the Midland Valley First Church of The Nazarene, 3526 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Clearwater and will be announced when finalized.  Interment will take place at Beaufort National Cemetery at a later date. SC Cremation society, Lexington, is assisting the Bryce family.

A son of the late John Joe Bryce and Dorothy Louise McFarland Bryce, he was born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He was an Eagle Scout, Airborne Infantry Soldier, combat veteran, small arms expert, firearms instructor,  legal investigator and a paralegal.  Those who were fortunate to know Michael understood that he could be funny and serious at the same time.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy  Bryce and a granddaughter, McClay Powell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Bauers Bryce; two adult daughters, Deana Louise (Preston) Powell and Cristina Michelle (Brent) Callan; a young son, Michael Dean Bryce, Jr. and his youngest daughter, Emmie Ruth Bryce.  He also leaves behind his four grandsons, Jonathan Ezekial “Zeke” Deas, Andrew  “Drew” Bryce Deas, John Dean Callan and Brent Michael Callan, who each held a special place in his heart as he watched them grow and progress toward manhood. He is also survived by a younger brother, Richard Allen (Wendy) Bryce; two nephews, Joseph Lee Bryce and Michael Ryan Bryce, all who live in Missouri.
