As I think of you over the years, I remember your smile, your guitar, your singing and your humor. I think of my dad telling me stories about how you were a good father. I've seen tears in my daddy's eyes as he's talked about his childhood memories with you and Grandma Dolores. He shares how much you loved him and how hard you were on him because you wanted him to be a good man. He took those same lessons you used to raise him into a man and used them on my brother and because of it my brother is an amazing man today. I only know you by stories that my mom, aunts and uncles have shared but I know you were a wonderful man because you are inside each and everyone one of your children. I will see you again one day and we will catch up on everything that was missed here on earth. Love you Grandpa Joe. I am proud to be apart of you.

What a life and celebration "Poppy" we had such an honor of getting to be in his life.

Many times he showed me how Christ works in the little things, smiles, thumbs-up and the little gestures.
