Though I haven't seen her in many years, I never forget her mischievous giggle. She laughed so easily and often, always had her home open to us, Melissa's friends, had a kitchen that emanated with wonderful smells, and was always so welcoming. I have so many fond memories of hanging out at family and Phil-Am get-togethers because she treated me as part of the group without hesitation. Rest in peace, Ofelia. Your playfulness and love will be remembered.
