Charles E. White

Charles E. White, of Lexington, Died at his home on December 31st, 2013. He passed peacefully in his sleep after a short illness.

     Charles was born in Wagener South Carolina on November the 6th, 1932. The Son of the late Claude E. White and Margaret Irene Cook. He was a graduate of Clemson University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a lieutenant colonel in the Army and severed with NATO in Fontainebleau France. He became a medical physicist, and Last worked at the Regional Medical Center of  Orangeburg .

Charles is survived by Joe W. Estes, Jr. : His sister and husband  Marla and John Reed Franklin of Chester. Son, Carter E White of Austin and Grandson Derek. Son, Claude E. White of Texas and 5 Grandsons.

      A "Celebration Of Life" will be held Tuesday , February 18th at 2:00 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Of Columbia. The Fellowship is located at 2701 Heyward Street.

In lieu of flowers , memorials may be made to the Animal Mission at 127 Humane Lane,  Columbia, SC 29209 or to the charity of your choice.
