Mr. Ralph Filbert, age 80, of Media, PA died peacefully in his home on Feruary 24, 2014. Ralph was born in Philadelphia and raised in Germany during World War II. After serving in the Korean War he returned to Philadelphia where he met his wife. He retired from IBM after almost 30 years of service. He loved the outdoors and gardening.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Erika (Mohwinkel) Filbert, his brother Peter Filbert, daughter Janette Filbert Spiezio, son Marc Filbert, daughter-in-law Danielle DeLuca-Filbert, and three granddaughters Amanda, Alexandria and Zoe. He is predeceased by grandson Jackson Walker Filbert who died in 2007.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday March 1, 2014 at the Church of the Nazarene 1810 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA. 19063.
