Henry "Hank" Guevara

Henry “Hank” Guevara, age 61, of New Lenox. Beloved husband of Mary Jo Lain-Guevara, loving father of Mike and Matt Guevara and Jennifer Forsythe, dear brother of Jose, Gloria, Frances and Robert, fond uncle of Heather, Christina, Joseph, Anthony, Matthew, Neil, David, Timothy, Sarah, Jerry, Athena and Ethan. Hank served the village of North Riverside as a paramedic and firefighter since 2000. He also served as an emergency dispatcher and as a CPR and first aid instructor for North Riverside residents, police, school staff and recreation department staff. In addition, he has played Santa Claus at Komarek School and, until it closed, Mater Christi School, as well as serving as Santa on the fire department’s annual Santa Run. Hank also enjoyed golf, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Memorial Visitation Saturday, April 12, 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S.
