The staff at the South Carolina Cremation Society offers their condolences to family and friends. We join you in remembering this United States Marine.

 

Mr. Earl Fred Fultz, 79, of  McCormick, SC  went home to be with the Lord on 26 April 2014 .  Funeral services will be private and SC Cremation Society is assisting with arrangements.

A son of the late Everett H. Fultz and Opal Carter Fultz, he was born in Carter, KY  on 17 January 1935 and was  the youngest of six children.  After completing school, he moved to Cleveland, OH where he met and married Lois (Lewis), McCormick, SC,  his wife of fifty-nine years.  Shortly after their marriage, he was called to serve his Country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1963.  He then became self-employed, as a service station owner with Marathon, Sinclair and Texaco. His hard work-ethic contributed to providing an exceptional upbringing to their two boys, Jeff of Due West, SC and Mike of Chesterfield, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to McCormick First Baptist Church 108 Oak St., McCormick, SC 29835 or to the Hospice of the Piedmont 408 W. Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
