I never had the chance to meet Terri, but have heard so many wonderful things about her from her oldest, Taylor, who I have had the honor to work with for the last nine months. If Taylor is any reflection of her mother, then I am certain that Terri was kind, generous, and stubborn in the best way possible. May your journey be one of peace, Terri, and know that your daughters are carrying on your legacy.

My Momma

My momma was a powerhouse, a firecracker, the life of the party, and the nurse to all. She has fought for me, held my hand when I was scared, sang to me to make me feel safe, and carried me when I was tired. She did all of this asking nothing in return. So for her, I will continue with that legacy. I will fight for those who are too small to fight for themselves, I will hold the hands of those who are scared, and I will carry those too tired to carry themselves. This is her legacy. And it is beautiful. I love you, Momma.
