Devon J. Smith

Devon J. Smith, Jr., was born in Chester, PA on Thanksgiving Day November 22, 1989 to Dana Brightwell and Devon Smith Sr.

Devon was raised and educated in the Chester Upland school district, where he graduated from Chester High School.  His love of life, family and music and his only child Jayden kept his eyes toward success.  He loved his music and used this as an outlet to express his artistic abilities.  His dreams of becoming a rapper was not just a fantasy dream that most young men have it was a passion that burned throughout him with deep desire, all of which can be seen on various social media sites where he posted his works.

Devon leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother Dana Smith and father Devon Smith Sr., stepfather Artie Harris; maternal grandparents Robert McCray and the late Florine Brightwell, paternal grandparents Joseph Williams and Linda Smith-Williams.  He will be forever missed by his son Jayden Smith, his siblings Deshona, Tasmiyah, Vincent, Alim, Shanae, Mariah, Zakkarah, Breon, and Brandon, as well as his nephews Jabree and Mason along with his brothers- in - life Derrick "D-nice" Tucker and Theodore "Booda" Bradley.  Special mention of his favorite aunt Donna Brightwell, his God-mother Maria Freeman and his God-father Edward Triggs.  And a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
