Vera Denise Jones

Mrs. Vera was born August 21, 1926 to Calvin Jones and Hattie Smith in Marshall TX. Vera received her formal studies through Marshall, TX public school system, where she excelled her studies. Sister Vera accepted Christ as her Savior with First Baptist Church of Marshall, TX where she served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord. In her leisure. Vera enjoyed singing in the Church Choir, serving on the usher board, and testifying before God and gardening. Sister Vera loved helping others and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Vera was beyond blessed, she departed her life on April 6, 2014. She is proceeded in death by her loving father, Calvin Jones; mother, Hattie Jones; beloved sister, Marie Jones; and brother, Victor Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Kevin Jones; and sister, Eunice Smith; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
