Joseph S. Adams (age 73) of Lexington, SC passed on July 16th 2014. Joe is survived by his wife, Ruth Harriger Adams; son, Jeffrey T. Adams and wife, Theresa; son, Jason T. Adams and wife, Christina; grandchildren, Tanner, Jared, Wyatt, an...d Macey Adams all of Lexington, SC; brother, John T. Adams, and wife, Roslyn, of Lakewood, NY; nieces Debbie Adams Roberts and Lorraine Adams of Jamestown, NY; and preceded in death by his parents, Joseph T. and Norma Adams of Lakewood, NY. Joe attended schools in Jamestown and Lakewood, NY. A tooling engineer, Joe retired in 2007 from the cutting tool industry. During retirement, Joe enjoyed the hobby of woodworking at his home in Lexington, SC. A devout family man, Joe reveled in the Sunday family dinners where he would often give gifts to his children and grandchildren that he’d made in his woodshop. Joe will be remembered by his family and friends for his grand sense of humor and by the wooden treasures he crafted that will remain for generations. A Celebration of Life will be held at their home 316 Spring Tyme Place, Lexington, SC 29073 on Saturday July 19th during the hours of 4-6 PM for friends and family.
