Maria Vila's Story
Maria Vila, 91, of Linwood,PA died February 17, 2013 at home. Born Maria Alvarez Lamela in Cuba, Mrs. Vila came to America in 1949. Mrs. Vila retired from Crozer Chester Medical Center, she loved crocheting, knitting, gardening and being with her family. Mrs. Vila was a sweet caring woman who enjoyed all that life gave to her. She is predeceased by her husband Rodrigo Vila Sr., her sons Rodrigo Jr. and Francisco Vila, and her daughters Gloria and baby Vila. Survivors: Daughters, Linda Vila of Folsom and Helen Vila-Green of Linwood and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services Thursday 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery Linwood, Pa.
