In Loving Memory of Mary Lorraine Campbell "Alsace" Soule

The staff at the South Carolina Cremation Society offers their condolences to family and friends. We join you in remembering.

Mary (Alsace) Lorraine Campbell Soule (age 67) of Columbia, SC went to live with God August 1st, 2014.  Mary (Alsace) is survived by her husband, George Soule; sons, Jon S. Soule and Tristan D. Soule; and daughter, Dawn Mireles. 

Mary attended primary through high school in Asheville NC and graduated college from The University of North Carolina Asheville. She was an active member of the West Asheville Presbyterian Church, even being married by the preacher in 1974.  Everywhere Alsace (Mary) has lived you would find her totally involved in the community spreading her passion for life on a school board, soccer committee, gardening, helping the disadvantaged and bringing God’s smile to everyone.

Alsace (Mary) lived in Charleston and Columbia South Carolina while raising her children. Alsace (Mary) worked in finance, as an educator, a tax preparer, and a homemaker throughout her life.  Alsace’s (Mary’s) hobbies were gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her family. Alsace (Mary) is most known for her very sweet smile and never having met a stranger.  She has touched the hearts of many people and has left so many great lived memories with everyone she has ever met.

The memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1:00pm at McGregor Presbyterian Church, 6505 St. Andrews Rd. Columbia, SC.
