Bernie was a very close friend of my Mother, Theresa Guyer. Whenever I was in the company of Bernie, she would call me sugar with a big smile on her face.
Very fashionable with her attire and had the most beautiful blue eyes.
I will remember her always, God rest her soul.

I have many but, one that I carried forward is, Hi Darlin;I greet my grandchildren that way. With joyfulness and sincerity, that is how Aunt Bernice would greet me. I can hear it clearly and I still love the sound of her voice. I'm comforted knowing that I had the chance to tell her about that in the recent past. I love her, Denise
