Barbara A. Boles

     Barbara A. Boles, age 69, of Drexel Hill, PA died January 17, 2015 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.  Mrs. Boles was born and raised in South West Philadelphia and had been a resident of Drexel Hill for the last 20 years formerly of Clifton Heights, PA.  Barbara retired in 1980 after 20 years as a receptionist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that she had been a typesetter at the Bulletin. For the last five years she had been a volunteer at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Upper Darby, PA and also enjoyed helping in her community.  Mrs. Boles was a member of St. Dorothy's Church in Drexel Hill, loved reading and keeping her home perfectly neat.

     Barbara was daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Gillespie Coyle.  She was also wife of the late Joseph P. Boles who died in 2011.  She is survived by her daughters, Christine A. and Kathleen P. Boles of Drexel Hill and sisters, Mary Coyle and Grace Kulsik and a brother Joseph Coyle.

     Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30 am in St. Dorothy Church Township Line and Burmont Rds. Drexel Hill, PA 19026 where friends may visit after 9:30 am.  Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
