Robert Joseph Acuna, 86, a 50 year resident of Norwood, died May 15, 2015 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Lima.
Bob was born in Chester to the late Albert and Gertrude Campbell Acuna. He was the husband of the late Grace Lasco Acuna who died in 2006 and the brother of the late Albert Acuna and Gloria Cericola.
Bob worked for the local 420 Steamfitters as a welder where he also served as treasurer. He was employed by Westinghouse, Sun Ship and then retired from Hardcast in 1994. An avid Eagles fan, Bob also enjoyed training German Shepards.
He is survived by his son, Robert and his wife Susan of Ridley Park; 3 grandchildren, Robert W., Robert J. and Ashley; 2 great-grandchildren, Kaylie and Grace.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass 11 am Wednesday at St. Gabriels Catholic Church, 233 Mohawk Ave, Norwood where friends may call from 10-11. Interment will follow in Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple.
