Eugene J. "Gene" Smith, age 75, of Manchester Twp., NJ, died September 29, 2015 at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Gene was a talented musician with his own group, he also played with many groups and string bands.
Son of the late Eugene and Claire Mulligan Smith, Gene is survived by his loving wife Edna (nee Wynne), his loving daughter Tracy Lee Hogan(Joe), his precious graddaughters Casey, Sarah and Kelly; two sisters Pat (Ron), Eileen (Shad); three brothers Michael (Shirley), Jerry (Lois) and Donald along with nieces and nephews.
Gene was a Navy veteran and served his country as an enlisted man.
Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.
