We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joe's wife Michelle, his parents and sister Dottie and the entire Cangemi family at this sad and difficult time. I have fond memories of Joe that I'll treasure for the rest of my life. I loved Joey and I find solace in knowing we'll be re-united again one day. Sincerely, John D. Joey was our friend for over forty-five years, and he will be sadly missed. Our hearts go out to his family, who have lost both of their sons/brothers. Our only solice is that Joey is reunited with his brother Dante.

What we remember most about Joey was his great big smile and his tremendous heart. He would do anything for a buddy.

Joey had two sides to him. He was as tough as nails, and yet gentle to those he cared about and loved.

Joey was an observer, and never spoke just to hear himself talk. Looking back he was quiet and rather introverted. Rare qualities these days, indeed. But that was Joey . . . one of a kind. – Louie & Dom
