William "Billy" Shurley was born February 2, 1991 in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, to Andrea and Steven Shurley, passed away October 18, 2015. A sensitive, searching soul, he studied art and read widely. Along with his brother, he edited ebooks for a Berkeley, California-based travel publisher. He was a devoted son, a younger brother to Steven, Daniel and Jamie, a beloved uncle, a brotherly cousin. In his too-short life Billy's generosity, humor and compassion won him loyal friends and no enemies. His gentle spirit, freed from all worldly concerns, dwells within the hearts of those he loved. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday October 24, 2015 after 9:00 am in the church of St. Philomena 41 E. Baltimore Ave Lansdowne, PA 19050. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Int private.
