Eleanor A. Nevin

Eleanor A. Nevin, age 83, passed away December 2, 2015 at her residence at Golden Living Center, Rosemont. Eleanor was a former resident of Upper Darby and was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Robert M. and Mary Ellen (nee Morris) Nevin. Eleanor was the primary care giver and nurse to her mother before her mother’s passing; after which she began to work for “TV Guide” for ten years prior to her retirement. Eleanor was a former member of St. Philomena’s Church, East Lansdowne. Eleanor also enjoyed a special bond with her mother through their love of the sport of Horse Racing. She is survived by her brother Stephen Nevin of Berlin, NJ and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her viewing Wed. after 10 AM at The John P. Donohue Funeral Home, 201 Copley Rd.
