Caroline Margaret Strollo (nee Tirabasso), 86, of Briarcliffe, died February 23, 2016 at Broomall Presbyterian Village, Broomall. Caroline was the loving wife for 60 years to the late JosephStrollo who died in 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph of Addison, TX and Michael of Secane; daughter, Frances of Garnet Valley and granddaughter, Katharine. Also survived by her sister, Josephine Angelaccio, sisters-in-law, Josephine Morroney and Rose Roffo, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was pre-deceased in life by her parents, Joseph and Carrie, brother Anthony, brothers-in-law Alexander, Carmen, Pasquale and Ercole, sisters-in-law, Theresa and Elizabeth and lifelong friend Marge.
Her final years were spent at Broomall Presbyterian Village where she was lovingly cared for by the staff and made many friends, including her guardian angel Betty Lombardo. Carol enjoyed bowling, sewing, crocheting, watching Eagles and Phillies games with her family, and best of all, the casino and Bingo.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 10:30 am Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Secane, PA where friends may call from 9:30-10:30. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Briarcliffe Athletic Association, 110 Bartram Ave, Glenolden, PA 19036.
