Best Bud's

Bob and I met in Temple University Technical Institute's Electronics course and became good friends. After graduation, he was best man at my wedding. He and Irene traveled with us to Florida while I was stationed at Myrtle Beach AFB. Later, a more scary trip down the Wading river in NJ by canoe brought us closer by enduring a sudden thunderstorm. With no exit near a road we had to grin and bear it soaking wet. Upon reaching a campground and seeing a fire-pit both wives started yelling help, then reaching land broke into laughter. I never got them on another canoe trip after that one (one two many)!
