William T. Peabody, Iii

        William T. Peabody, III, 68, of Brookhaven, PA, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Upland.
        Born in Boston, MA, Mr. Peabody has been a resident of Brookhaven for over 40 years.  He was a member of the American Legion Post in Brookhaven and enjoyed mechanical work on cars and motorcycles.  He also enjoyed photography. William worked for 13 years as a Hazmat Supervisor for Hoss Environmental in New Jersey.  A Veteran of the United States Army, William was honorably discharged in 1970 earning the National Defense Medal and the Sharp Shooter Medal.
         He was the son of the late William T. Jr. and Florence Marshall Peabody.
         He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl A. Semerjian Peabody; sons, Larry Peabody of Brookhaven and Jason Peabody of Glen Mills; his brother, Marshall Peabody of Seattle, WA; sisters, Carol Mooney of Seattle, WA and Janet Barrow of Springfield, PA; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Bradfield and Hunter and Alexa DeMatto; and his dog Peaches.
        Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service 11 am Saturday at Crosspointe Church, 601 S. Middletown Rd, Media, PA 19063 where friends may call from 9-11.  Interment will be private.
