Nicholas J. Solazzo, Jr.

Nicholas J. Solazzo “Nick”, a resident of Ridley Park, passed away October 21, 2017 at Taylor Hospice, Ridley Park. Nick worked as a mason for the Coatesville Veterans Administration, retiring after 30 years. He was a proud member of the NRA, the Delco Sportsman’s Association as well as the Delco Field and Stream Association. Nick was an avid hunter and an award-winning Trap and Skeet shooter. Nick enjoyed playing cards, summer trips to Wildwood and Atlantic City as well as his trips to Las Vegas and Key West. He is survived by his wife Lynda J. (nee Stanley) and his sons Nicholas J. Solazzo III and David R. Solazzo. He is also survived by a granddaughter Noelle and his nephew Joseph Naimoli whom he raised. Nick is predeceased by his parents Nicholas J. and Mary (nee Candelora) Solazzo, his brother Ronald V. Solazzo and his sister Dolores Naimoli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Sat. October 28, 2017 at 10 AM at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, 950 Michigan Ave. Swarthmore, PA 19081 followed by his funeral mass at 11 AM. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
