Dear Williams Family
Firstly, my condolences to all of David's family. Although I never met David R. Williams, I am familiar with the Williams family history dating to the early 1900's in Llanelly. I learned some of the history from Cicely Jean Williams, my grandmother-in-law and the sister of David's father David H. Williams. And also from my mother-law Barbara J. Brush, David R. Williams cousin. Barbara passed away in January of this year. The Williams family, based on the oral history and historical documents, was progressive philosophical and culturally aware. David's father loved poetry as I found in his hymnals poems by Longfellow, Kippling, Harriet Beacher Stowe etc. Perhaps you will appreciate Longfellow's "As torrents in Summer.
