I remember when the whole family drove from Ottawa down to Georgia to see Larry graduate as a Lieutenant from Officer Training at Fort Benning that when after the ceremony and Larry came over to us in his full dress uniform that our dad (Les) who was a Master Warrant Officer in the Canadian Air Force saluted his son. The smile on our dad's face and the ear to ear grin on Larry's showed us all how proud dad was of his son.
