Jerry Stephen Serpiello, age 53, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.   He was born October 6, 1964 to the late Ruth C. Becker (Serpiello) and the late Joseph S. Serpiello.  Jerry graduated from high school in 1982.  He later received further training to become a Certified Transmission Specialist.  Jerry was one of the most talented mechanics in the country.  He loved to tinker with cars, computers, clocks and anything that needed repairing.   Jerry was very outgoing and never met a stranger.  He loved helping others, particularly when it came to their car repairs.  Jerry’s faithful companion and sidekick was his little Cairn Terrier known to everyone as “Shaggy dog.”

Jerry was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Erica Christine Serpiello; his mother and father, his brother, John C. Serpiello, and his grandparents.
 

He is survived by his loving friend of 10 years, Nancy Goforth, Florence, Alabama; his brothers, Joseph W.  Serpiello, (Mildred) Montana; R. James Serpiello (Austin, Texas)., and his sister, Nina J.
