Vincent A. Sammartino

Vincent A. Sammartino, 78, died January 29, 2011 at Taylor Hospital. Born and raised in S.W. Phila. he had been a resident of Folcroft for the last 31 years. He was a 1950 graduate from John Bartram High School. He retired from Boeing in 1994 as a wireman after over 35 years. He was an Army veteran and when his children were young was very involved as a coach with their sports. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Johanne (Lipshutz) Sammartino; daughter Lisa Anne Love; sons Vincent S., William P. and Daniel J. Sammartino; Sister, Mona Hill and 14 Grandchildren. Visitation Friday February 4, 2011 after 9:00 am in the church of St. George Lamont Ave. Glenolden, Pa. 19036. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am Int. Private In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Inter County Scholastic Hockey League(ICSHL) 1537 Warwick Rd. Folcroft, Pa. 19032 or St. George Church 22 E. Cooke Ave Glenolden, Pa. 19036 would be preferred
