Bea Zaffina

Bea Zaffina passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2012. She was born in Medford, MA on June 6, 1931. She was an Episcopalian. Bea worked in the Chem Lab at Sylvania for 22 years before moving to Bradenton in 1974. She was a productive real estate agent in the Bradenton/Sarasota area for more than three decades.  Bea did volunteer work with many organizations including AMI Turtle Watch, Meals on Wheels and Sailing Squadron.  She was a member of VFW Post 10141, The Moose Lodge and American Legion.  She was pre-deceased by her husband, John Zaffina; brother, John Kendall and son-in-law Alan Anderson.  Survivors include brother's Ernie Kendall; Bill (Sandra) Kendall and sister Joan (Joe) McDonough; children Linda Anderson, Butch (Elizabeth) and Frank (Stephanie) Zaffina; grandchildren Eric (Anya), Brianne, Bianca and Andrew; great-grandchildren Dante, Hannah and Baylee.  Bea also had numerous nieces and nephews around the country.  Per Bea's request, there will be no services.  National Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Tidewell Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
