Thomas "Tom" "Sharky" Farraday, Jr. Thomas "Tom" "Sharky" Farraday, Jr. Memorial

Born: November 18, 1978
Died: August 02, 2019

Beloved Husband & Father

Thomas J. “Sharky” Farraday, Jr, died Friday August 2, 2019 at his home in St. Augustine, Florida.

Tom was born in Chester, PA and was a 1997 graduate of Chichester High School.  He lived in Delaware County for most of his life before moving to Cecilton, MD where he spent 5 years prior to moving to St. Augustine, FL where he has resided for the past 2 years.  Tom was currently employed in the sales department for Bugout Pest Control.  He was also founder of ABI apparel which he began in 2010.  Tom was very active in baseball.  He grew up playing baseball for Mickey Vernon Little League and also played for Aston Valley Little League and Chichester High School.  He was the first sophomore to be selected to play in the Carpenter Cup and made it 3 consecutive seasons.  Tom was offered a baseball scholarship for the University of Nevada Las Vegas before injuring his quad and being unable to play.  Because of his passion as a baseball enthusiast, Tom enjoyed coaching soccer and helping kids with baseball.  He loved to visit baseball parks, go to Disney and the beach, but most of all he enjoyed being a father and a husband.  Tom truly loved his girls.  He loved to help others, from strangers on the street to close family and friends.  He had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up every room he walked into.  He never missed an opportunity to play a good prank.  Tom was a great talker, so great that wherever he went, many would think he was “running for mayor”.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. “Sharky” Farraday Sr. who died in 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Dyer Farraday; two daughters, Asia and Hailey Farraday; his parents George Gibbs and Diane Perkins Farraday; his brother, Timmy Farraday; sisters, Leslie Farraday, Nicole Johnson and Shanna Gibbs; his in-laws, Bob Dyer and Dottie and Chris Noel; brother-in-law, Bobby Dyer; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and of course his dog, Papi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service 7 pm, Friday evening at D’Anjolell-Stigale Memorial Home, 3260 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014 where friends may call from 5-7.  Interment will be private.
