Lars' Wonderful Shoes

My son Riley and Lars met in sleep-a-way camp many summers ago and remained close,devoted friends through the years. I'll never forget when Lars would come to our house in N.Y. to see Riley, he'd take off his shoes at the door and if that kid didn't have the best designer shoes!!!
I always teased him that I was going to steal them and if he couldn't find them when his Mom picked him up, well,
he'd know why!
He was such a wonderful boy, gifted with a natural light that made any room he was in just a little warmer and brighter than it was before, and he will be missed.
