I have many fond memories of Poppa Mike. I will always value the political discussions that we had over the many years – I still think that my views were right. I will miss his sense of humor. I want to thank him for including me on one of his family vacations to Myrtle Beach where he became known as “To the right Mike”.

I want to thank Poppa Mike for sharing their beautiful daughter with me and welcoming me into their family. I also want to thank for him for being great role model to show us what it means to be a great husband, father, grandfather and man. Although a liberal, democrat, I have always been (and always will be) proud and honored to have you for a father-in-law.

May God Have Mercy on your soul and you Rest In Peace!!!
