Anthony Maiale

Anthony J. Maiale (Tony), 86, formerly of Reading, PA, passed away on April 5, 2013 in Venice, Florida. 

Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Nicola and Mary (Bolognese) Maiale.

Mr. Maiale is survived by his beloved wife, Doris G.(Longenecker) Maiale of Nokomis, FL; a sister, Connie Caltagirone of Reading, PA; and three children and their spouses - John Maiale (Robin) of Kansas City, MO; Jan Maiale (Frank Mariano) of Herndon, VA and Joe Maiale (Georgette) of Gwynedd Valley, PA.  He has eight loving grandchildren, Max and Adam Maiale; Lauren, Ellen and Nick Mariano; and Joseph, Matthew and Gianna Maiale.

Tony served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He started his working career at the Reading Railroad and later entered the foundry industry working at Kutztown Foundry and retired from Elyria Foundry in Ohio. Tony was an avid jogger and traveler and after retirement, made numerous trips to meet relatives in Italy.
