Linda M Ackerman

Linda M. Ackerman, 65, died on April 20, 2013 in Scottsdale, Arizona after a courageous fight against cancer. She was born on March 12, 1948 in Paterson, New Jersey to Carl and Maria Ackerman. She graduated in 1966 from Paramus High School in New Jersey. She moved to Arizona in 1968, and later attended Maricopa Community Colleges. She worked in real estate land sales, as well as for Armour Dial, SRP, Mayo Clinic, PCS Health Systems and Phoenix College. She is survived by her mother Maria Ackerman, sister Gloria McNeil, nephews Sean McNeil, Chris McNeil & Carl McNeil, niece Nicole McNeil, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, her Aunt Jean Seyfried of Secaucus, New Jersey, her cousins Steve Seyfried and Michael Seyfried, and her dear friend Ed Battershell. Linda was an award winning roller skater in her younger years and loved traveling, gardening, cooking, reading and being with friends. She loved animals, and everyone knew her canine companion, Toby. She had a lovely smile, a delightful laugh, made instant friends with anyone she met and was loved by everyone.  There will be no services.
