Dr. Jorgensen was a wonderful doctor

I knew Dr. Jorgensen as a girl of 16, when I was referred by a colleague of hers. I actually saw her for GYN services only once, but she also counseled people and saw me without charge for almost a year. I was having a tough time then; my parents were abusive and I really didn't have any adult to guide me. Dr. Jorgensen took that role; her compassion and understanding were appreciated more than I can say. I am sorry to hear of her passing; my she rest in peace.

Dr. Jorgensen was my OB/GYN. I started with her practice when I was pregnant with my daughter, whom she delivered in May 1997. I was cared for during my pregnancy and for years afterward by Dr. Jorgensen and her partner Judith Colla. Valerie was by far the best physician I have ever known, both in terms of her professionalism as well as her humanity. Although I have not been in contact with her for many years since her retirement from practice, I have thought of her often over the years and I was so saddened to learn of her passing. Thank you, Valerie, for your beautiful, compassionate and expert care of me, my daughter Zoe and my mother, Janeth, whose life you saved through your early Intervention and treatment of her cancer that was missed by her previous doctor. I will always be grateful to you and will never forget the loving care you provided to me and my family. Rest in peace. Much love and heartfelt condolences to Judith and to the Jorgensen family. 💔
