Our Sweet Nells

Junnell Patricia Woods-Tann 39, daughter of Joseph and Patricia Tann passed away in her Philadelphia home on Monday, July 27,2020.

Junnell was born on October 7,1980 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Junnell attended school at University City High . She played basketball for a minute and played the saxophone. However, due to her illness with lupus she had to stop going to school. After a while Junnell was able to work and was employed at FoodSource now Giant. She was loved and deeply valued as an employee and friend. As time moved forward Nellie had more issues with her illness and could no longer work.
Junnell was a beautiful, loving, caring and kind woman. She is loved by many family members and friends. She was very straight forward and to the point with people but not to but your feelings.Very truthful. Her favorite colors are red, purple, and green. She loved to cook, play pool, listen to music, dance and decorate. she had a way with making home feel warm and loved. When she dances,we called her “hot hands” because her hands were moving a mile a minute. Laughing out loud! She loved songs like “Get lifted ,Put your hands where my eyes can see, and Flo Rida’s low”. She always had favorite sayings like”hello dee, hello brother!,Hey Tite, and grab a sponge and dry it”! Not sure what that means but that was our Nells! Nells was a trooper and never let her illness mess up her day. She was a Lupus warrior. Her love was real and genuine. No matter what she will always be our Nells, Nellie,Bionic Woman,Jay-dog,lovie,Rose,and Redz. You will always be in our hearts and loved forever. Love you Nells!
