Nancy Le Ann Mongin

Nancy LeAnn (Goins) Mongin got her wings September 3, 2020, at 11:12 pm after a short battle with liver disease.  Nancy went home surrounded by her son Joe Kidd, her son John Mongin, her mother Martha Goins, the love of her life Julio Martinez and her brother Raymond Goins.
Nancy was full of spark, spunk and sass.  She loved and cared for her family before anything else.  Nancy was born September 27, 1962 in Millington, Tennessee, the only daughter to Elijah LeRoy and Martha Ann Goins joining her brothers Larry and Raymond, followed later by brothers Donald and Timothy Andrew.  The family moved around and settled in Eufaula, Oklahoma.  Nancy graduated from Eufaula High School with the class of 1980.  After graduation she dabbled in college life and met her first love, Jeffrey Kidd the father of Joseph and Rebecca Kidd.  After Jeffrey’s untimely death she met and married Michael Mongin, the father of John Mongin.  Nancy eventually moved to Checotah, Oklahoma where she was blessed with her two daughters Carrie and Andrea.  Nancy later met the love of her life, Julio Martinez, and settled in Slaughtersville, Oklahoma.  Nancy worked her way to Regional Manager for central Oklahoma with the Jackson Hewett Tax Services forming several strong friendships.  Nancy was diagnosed with liver disease and fought like the fiery redhead she was.

Nancy was proceeded in death by her grandparents William Buie and Bonnie (Buie) Dabbs of Eufaula, Oklahoma and Marcus and Velma Goins of Bay Minette, Alabama, her father Elijah LeRoy Goins of Roswell, New Mexico, brother Larry Eugene Goins of Lawton, Oklahoma and brother Timothy Andrew Goins from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She is survived by her mother Martha Ann Goins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her brother Raymond Goins and wife Laurie of Blanchard, Oklahoma, her brother Donald Goins and wife Tammy of Elkton, Kentucky, her sister in law Lorna Goins of Irving, Texas, her sister in law Tamara Goins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the love of her life Julio Martinez of Slaughtersville, Oklahoma, her son Joseph Kidd and wife Brandy of Oklahoma City, her daughter Rebecca Kidd of Slaughtersville, Oklahoma, her son John Mongin and wife Rebecca of Ft. Carson, Colorado, her daughter Carrie Youngblood and husband Matt of Checotah, Oklahoma and daughter Andrea Goodman, wife Kaley of Checotah, Oklahoma, grandchildren April Kidd, Jonathan Kidd, Jeffrey Kidd, Elizabeth Sanchez-Silva and Reagan Mongin, nephews William Goins, JD Davis and Michael Goins and nieces Lyrics Goins, Drea Davis, Kaileigh Goins and Alex Goins.
