Mildred Madeline Yarbrough Smith

Mildred Madeline Smith was a cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is forever in our thoughts and actions because of the many things that she taught us as we were growing up. Her life took her through many stages of the growth of America, including the roaring twenties, the great depression, World War ll, the industrial era, the Age of Aquarius, disco dancing and the technology era. Mildred was a nurse by trade, a fabulous self taught seamstress, a world traveler, a wonderful southern cook, and a caregiver for her loved ones.  Her values continue to be carried on today by her family, including her 2 daughters, Peggy Herner and Sandra Hutchings, her 2 granddaughters, Terri Vyse and Toni Hallgren, her 4 grea tgrandchildren, Derrick and Skyler Vyse and Jessical and Jeffrey Hallgren.  Mildred was cremated and her cremated remains lay at rest with her late husband Harold Amansel Smith at Edgewater Cemetery in Florida.
